Information package

We have assembled a short information package containing a map of the important places and information about the public transportation in Helsinki. The information package can be downloaded from here: Information_package.pdf

Physicum building

Physicum is situated at Kumpula Campus. The street address is Gustaf Hällströmin katu 2 A and cabs should be able find it without difficulty.

The campus itself is situated on Kumpula hill and many buses stop at the foot of the hill. Buses from downtown to Kumpula leave next to the central railway station at Rautatientori, and you can take bus number 75, 77, 717, 722, 731 or 741 and tram number 6 or 8. Buses 74 and 73 leave from Hakaniemi and bus 70T from Kamppi. Buses 71, 71V and 74 will turn right just before the marked stop which adds some 50 meters to the walking distance. Bus 55K will drive up to the hill. The travel time is around 20 min. We recommend that you acquire a 3 or 4 day Helsinki area ticket which will allow you to travel with buses, trams and subway within the city limits.

The distance from the bus stop to Physicum main doors is approximately 250 m.

Easiest ways to get from the airport to Helsinki center or vice versa is to use either train or bus 615. The train travels in a loop, so at the airport you can take either direction. From Helsinki you should take outbound I or P train. When traveling from or to the airport you will travel across the city borders and a regional ticket is needed.
